I switched from State Farm to Jetty because my landlord partnered with them and it was slightly cheaper. Coverage seems pretty similar to what I had before, but I haven't had to file a claim yet so can't speak to that part.

Lemonade is pretty good for quick claims, I've heard. But Jetty was cheaper for me, especially with the partner discount from my building. You should probably get quotes from a few places and compare directly based on your specific needs though.

For sure, it's way better for your wallet upfront. You pay a small fee instead of a huge lump sum deposit. It basically covers the landlord if you trash the place, but you don't fork over all that cash yourself.

I used Jetty Deposit and it was great. Didn't have to tie up hundreds of dollars. Just remember it's a non-refundable fee, not money you get back at the end like a regular deposit. But still, way easier on the bank account when you're moving.
